Max out arm mods, get hacking stealth, jumpy legs, and I never really need anymore augs after that. Extra batteries just make you a candybar addict. I've never found a real need for invisibility, but having one-battery of it really speeds things along in many encounters. I'll usually start working my invisiblity and quick recharge, though I never get extra batteries. At this phase I'll also get my falling system, bot and turret domination, and usually max out my inventory.Īt this point it generally seems to be all based on taste and gamestyle. This opens up a 15-second kill strategy for the second boss. In Hengsha #1 you will want to get your dermal armor to the point you are EMP immune. I usually have heavy lifting, reflexes, and a couple points in inventory capacity by the end of Detroit #1. which you really don't want to endure.Īfter that it's all up to you. Additionally, getting hacking up to 3 permits a 5-minute sweep of the cop shop without having to speak to Haas. In Detroit #1, you will require lung upgrade to be immune to toxic gasses, which opens up a 15-second kill strategy for the first boss. In order to be properly prepared for efficient boss fight performance, there are certain augmentations you need at each stage of the game. In fact, I think I've always had some left over when I've got to the final boss !! I tend to only redeem praxis kits when needed. Though first playthrough I did kill every cop inside the Police station - but it kind of made me a wanted man on the streets !! I found Hacking Stealth useful on Deus Ex difficulty, but I've never felt the need for it on lower difficulty settings.Īnd I don't bother with the Dermal Armour upgrades any more as I tend to use more stealth these days. Hacking Analysis (I agree, it already tells you detection percentage) There are a number of augs I have never used: The only thing I can think with the Hyper-Oxygenation is you get a longer initial burst in which you can run away from trouble. No point in this post btw, just wanted to rant bout it you know? What you think? These are the only 3 i really have a problem with, i think that there should be energy upgrades to make it so that more that 1 cell recharges, would greatly improve motvation for praxis points.Īlso the aug to mark targets can be quite helpful i think, knowing hwere all the enemies in the local area are without sight or using energy to look through walls is good. Hyper Oxigynation : both will add 5 seconds to your sprint BUT add 5 seconds to your cooldown, so your still going to spend the exact same amount of time to get smewhere, youve just wasted 2 praxis kits. Scan datanode to see whats inside : i always get them anyway no matter what, got 101 nuke viruses and 97 stop worms atm ) Hacking anylise : REALLY? Scan a node to see your chances, IT ALREADY DOES THAT! Im doing a complesionist run and im pretty sure i will get EVERY aug (maybe missed xp from police computers and 2 d-ballers so i migt miss 1) but i was wondering how some of the augmentations seem so.
